Pediatric Clinic

The Pediatric Department at Al-Noor Hospital specializes in monitoring children’s health, and is dedicated to the treatment and prevention of diseases they may be exposed to. The pediatric department consists of:

Inpatient Department

Where medical cases requiring continuous, around-the-clock monitoring are followed up, such as: gastroenteritis, pneumonia, and all types of fevers.

Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

All critical cases, diabetic comas, and cases of respiratory distress are monitored. It is also equipped with a mechanical ventilator for cases that require it.

Incubator Unit

The Premature Infants Department is equipped with 4 incubators, 3 CPAP machines, 2 phototherapy devices, a jaundice capsule, and 2 mechanical ventilators, in order to treat the following conditions:

Growth deficiency

Low gestational age

Premature infants with respiratory distress

Treatment of sepsis cases

Treatment of all types of neonatal jaundice

A specialized medical team headed by Dr. Khaled Abdel Salam, Neonatology Consultant and Head of the Department.
